Mont De Lancey Art Exhibition

Sunday 11th September till Sunday 25th September. 10am - 4.30pm

Why not check out the Exhibition to appreciate the beautiful paintings from a wide range of local Yarra Valley Artists. This year we have broadened the style of painting to now include Contemporary as well as Traditional.

We will also have a section for miniature paintings. There could be a painting you would like for your home.

BLACKSMITH DAY

@ Mont De Lancey in the Yarra Valley

Sunday 2nd October 2016 10am - 4.30pm

Come and experience Blacksmiths forging hot metal using tools to hammer, bend, and cut to produce objects such as sculpture, tools, agricultural implements, decorative items, cooking utensils, and much more. This event is held in the beautiful grounds of Mont De Lancey Historic Homestead. Guided Tours of the property are also available throughout the day.

Admission: Adults $10. Children free.

 

EXPERIENCE YESTER YEAR at the

Draught Horse & Vintage Machinery Weekend 2016

Saturday and Sunday 26th and 27th November

A fun day with working displays including: Draught Horses ploughing the fields, Vintage Machinery running up a huge head of steam, Blacksmiths firing up the forges to make horse shoes, Woodturners making a range of beautiful timber objects, Working dogs rounding up sheep, Creative chainsaw carving, PLUS much more.

A great destination for a day trip, just an hour's drive from Melbourne.

The Exhibition will be held at Mont De Lancey Historic Homestead                         71 Wellington Rd Wandin North. 

Captain George Ingram VC, MM, the Yarra Valleys only recipient of the Victoria Cross. From a country boyhood growing up in Seville to serving with the artillery facing the horror and heroism of the Western Front with the 24th Battalion AIF
